Pikes Peak Highway

The Pikes Peak Highway is a 19-mile toll road that runs from Cascade, Colorado to the summit of Pikes Peak in El Paso County, at an altitude of 14,115 feet. It is at least partially open year-round, up to the altitude where snow removal becomes excessively difficult. There are a few different ways to drive the Pikes Peak Highway. You can drive your own car or ride the Cog Railway. The Cog Railway is a historic train that has been running since 1891. Seven Falls

Seven Falls is a series of seven cascading waterfalls located in a box canyon in Colorado Springs. The falls were created by the Fountain Creek, which flows through the canyon. The creek has been eroding the canyon for thousands of years, creating the seven waterfalls. Seven Falls is a popular tourist destination, and is open year-round. There are a few different ways to experience the falls, including hiking, taking the elevator to the top, or taking the aerial tram.

Rampart Reservoir is a popular recreation area located east of Woodland Park, Colorado in the Pike National Forest. The reservoir is on a granite plateau approximately 9,000 feet above sea level. The reservoir is a popular spot for fishing, boating, hiking, and camping. There are also a few different trails that lead to the reservoir, including the Rainbow Gulch Trail and the Rampart Reservoir Trail. The reservoir is open year-round, but the best time to visit is during the summer months when the weather is warm and sunny.
