The historic Green Mountain Falls Lodge, built over 110 years ago but fully renovated now sits at the trailhead for the wonderful trails leading to the Falls, Garden of Eden and the lakes on Pikes Peak.
The decks on every level allow you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It feels like you are going back in time to a remote mountain town but with all the modern amenities needed to make your stay complete.

There is a deck that surrounds the whole Lodge offering stunning views of the mountains and wildlife all around.
This cozy and comfortable Den Queen is located on the middle floor. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, induction burner, coffee maker, and all the pots, pans, dishes that you will need. The private shower bathroom comes with toiletries to make your traveling easier. The views outside this room will take your breath away.
In addition to the deck outside your room there is also a shared deck with plenty of space, table and chairs, as well as a BBQ and fire pit to take care of any outdoor cooking and relaxation. The decks are a great place to animal spot. One of the joys of the area we live in is all the wildlife. Often we have deer pass through the property as well as birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and if you are lucky you might see a fox or a fat Raccoon looking for some food.
Even though the room is a bit smaller than the hotel rooms built in this century, we trust your stay will be cozy and inviting. Whether you desire to wake up early to watch the deer come up to the lodge or you want to relax under the stars by a fire, this is the place for you.

Due to our building being over 100 years old there is no elevator.
There is a road behind the property where you can stop long enough to unload but not park. The ramp across to the lodge from that road has 3 steps and will put you directly on the middle floor.
When you get to your room, you will find an electronic lock on the door where you will enter the code that we will share with you on your arrival day.
Your furry friend is welcome as well. We have a one-time $50 pet fee per pet that applies for the duration of your stay.
As a means to conserve resources and respect the environment, daily housekeeping is not automatically offered. Fresh towels are available upon request, you just need to let us know.
Upon request, subject to availability, a pack ‘n play may be available. Please send in a request at the time of booking.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to welcome you!

This stay rose above and beyond our expectations. We were in a bind to find a place last minute to stay and Tim was speedy in his response and so accommodating since we have two dogs that made the trip with us as well. The photos that represent this establishment are extremely accurate, the view is breathtaking, and the neighborhood is charming. Tim was gracious enough to provide nearby attractions when we checked in and there is actually a new cafe called Tie Dye Java that is amazing, one you should make the nice walk over to. There's a creek with a small bridge by the swimming pool across the street from the lodge then leads to a lake park. The hikes around the area are enjoyable. Can't say enough great things about the hospitality and the scenery that come with this stay.

Highly recommended for a very affordable stay in a stunningly picturesque mountain village. Our room at the lodge was very clean and well-organized, and we made great use of the communal balcony and porch areas. Located within a 5-10 minute walk of at least three trailheads with great hikes into Pike National Forest (would recommend the short-but-strenuous Thomas Trail Loop if you have about 2 hours to spare).

Cozy, clean and cute apartment in proximity of Pikes Peak, Garden of The Gods and Colorado City! We had an amazing stay at Green Mountain Lodge. It seemed as if had been renovated recently. Sparkling clean! We particularly enjoyed the balcony outside our room; perfect for enjoying a hot cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful fall weather!

I was extremely happy with this stay! Green Mountain Falls is a beautiful area right in the mountains with many hiking trails within walking distance. The little room was adorable with a TV and updated appliances including a coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge, and electric stove-top. The area was quiet and the views from the balcony were gorgeous. Check-in was so easy--they send an email with your room number and door code, so you can arrive whenever is convenient for you. Tim and his staff checked on us via text message multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this stay!
